SATISH PATHAK - CHAIR
Satish has been involved with immigration settlement for over two decades. He specializes in employment trends and labour adjustments and is actively involved in the community. His vast experience and skill has earned him numerous awards and recognition over the years, including an award for community services from the Governor-General of Canada.
RINA LIO PFP, CSC - VICE CHAIR
RBC Branch Manager, Cooksville Branch, Mississauga
Having worked in various capacities within RBC for 24 years, Rina has developed unique relationships and rapport with clients, the communities involved and colleagues across the province. This has enabled her to achieve high levels of employee satisfaction and commitment, client satisfaction and community relationships.
Rina strongly believes in giving back to the community and as such are involved with various internal and external fundraising events.
DAVID FISHER - BOARD MEMBER
David is a senior facilitator and performance consultant with 20 years experience developing customized learning solutions for major North American corporations. His work, spanning a wide range of industries and subject matter, has received several prestigious awards including the 2008 Award of Excellence through the International Society for Performance Improvement.
ESTHER U OKEKE - BOARD MEMBER
Esther is a lawyer and originally from Nigeria. She has attended the Enhanced Language Training Program (ELT) at NCP and has also volunteered with NCP in the past. Esther is presently taking courses with University of Toronto in order to qualify to practice as a lawyer in Ontario, through the Ontario Bar requirements by summer 2010.
NATE FUKS, MBA, M.Sc.,M.A. - BOARD MEMBER
Nate came to Canada in his twenties and has been involved in research and community initiatives related to immigrant integration. Currently he is employed as the Program Management Office Leader, for Deloitte and Touche Enterprise Sustainability Services. Nate's industry observations and experiences further increased his awareness of the importance of immigrant integration.
YOUNG D LEE - BOARD MEMBER
Young is a lawyer with Lee & Ma LLP. His practice focuses on acquisitions and dispositions of businesses, residential and commercial properties, financings for both borrower and lenders, leasing for landlords and tenants of office, retail and industrial premises. A native of South Korea, Young speaks fluent Korean, and is actively involved in a Korean community church. Young is a graduate of University of Toronto Faculty of Law (J.D. 2005) and of University of Pennsylvania (B.A. 2002, Summa Cum Laude, Phi Bea Kappa).
RAHUL DHINGRA – DIRECTOR
With 10 years of supply chain management experience, and 3 years of intelligence research, project management and strategy consulting experience, Rahul Dhingra is the newest member to the Board. He brings his every day corporate strategy skill-set to other non-corporate aspects of life, be it at home or in an environment like the NCP board. Currently, his occupational role as Senior Consultant with Global Intelligence Alliance, engages him with medium and large corporate clients to determine their strategic decision-making processes and intelligence research needs. While assisting corporations in need of analyses – he believes that all businesses and organizations are made of real people, and this is always included in his considerations and recommendations.
